Colin G Cooper is an acclaimed director, editor, and occasional producer based in Toronto, Canada.  Primarily known for his music video work, Cooper has developed an eclectic style through collaborations with a diverse selection of artists, including Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez, multi-Juno-Award-winning electronic sensation Rezz, Kingston rock darlings The Glorious Sons, post-hardcore legends Underoath and Silverstein, and a long-standing creative partnership with Toronto hiphop artist Tasha The Amazon.  His work with Tasha includes directing the 5-video visual component of her Juno-nominated 2016 EP Die Every Day, which earned them a win for Best Hip Hop Video at the 2017 iHeart Radio MMVAs, as well as nominations at the Berlin MVAs, the Kinsale Sharks, and others.

Cooper’s music video work has been featured by numerous prominent entertainment publications, including Loudwire, Spin, Alternative Press, RevolverExclaim!, XXL, Paper, Nylon, and many others.

A lifelong lover of genre cinema, much of Colin's work is heavily influenced by horror & sci-fi aesthetics, and has garnered awards recognition from various festivals on the genre circuit, including a 2020 win for Best Music Video at HorrorHaus, and back-to-back nominations for Best Music Video at both the 2020 and 2021 editions of FilmQuest.

On top of his music video work, Cooper's career as a television editor includes the Canadian Screen Award-winning CBC series The Filmmakers,  their Canadian Screen Award-nominated daytime talk series The Goods, and the Canadian Comedy Award-nominated CityTV hidden camera series Meet The Family.
